LO.2 Be able to devise sound assets for an interactive media product


Briefs

My brief was a negotiated brief. The brief is likely to tell you what you need to do aswell as other information such as the scope of work, medium required, size, cost, target group, time frame, quantities and siting. For this type of brief the usual client is someone who owns a small company that would be able to negotiate the brief to suit both the recipent and the creators. the communication between the client and the company is very important for this brief as it is created by both parties and all decisions must be made together.

Asset Specification

My target audience is males and females between the ages of 18-58 as these are the people that are most likely to be buying a new car. It has been targeted to both males and females as it shows identitys of both gendres in the video driving the car. I have chosen such a large age gap as it is able to be bought by any age. The target audience is not below the age of 18 as you are not leagally able to drive a car until you are this age.
Considering the target audience and both the footage and the sound of the advert it can be shown throughout the day as there is nothing that would effect watershed. However to gain a high amount of views the advert would be best shown between the times of 4-11 pm as this is the most likely time people will be watching television.
